Lactisole

Synonyms: Lactisol, 2-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propanoic acid

Lactisole is an antagonist to sweet-tasting compounds as sugars (e.g. sucrose), sweet-tasting proteins (e.g. thaumatin) and artificial sweeteners (e.g. cyclamate) (Jiang, P. et al.).
